Jamie O'Hara return pleases Sam Ricketts

Sam Ricketts believes that the time is right to bring Jamie O'Hara back into the Wolverhampton Wanderers squad.

Wolverhampton Wanderers captain Sam Ricketts has expressed his happiness at the recent reintegration of Jamie O'Hara back into the squad.

It appeared that the former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder would leave Molineux during the summer after he was placed on the transfer list in the wake of the club's relegation to League One.

A move failed to materialise, though, and so the 27-year-old was made to train with the Black Country outfit's development side.

However, he was recalled to the squad for Saturday's trip to Bradford City - something that has "pleased" his skipper.

"Enough time has passed, we're pleased he's back involved because he's got undoubted quality," the Express & Star quotes Ricketts as saying.

"He trained with us on Friday and travelled up on Friday night and it was good to have him back. I've spoken to Jamie since the first day he has been in and he's always been fine. He's been around the training ground and there haven't been any problems."

O'Hara joined Wolves from Spurs on a permanent basis in 2011.
