Having already qualified for the last 16, Wolfsburg will attempt to secure top spot of their Women's Champions League group when they face Slavia Prague Women on Friday.

Wolfsburg have been in imperious form this season, winning 15 and drawing one of their 16 games in all competitions.

That draw took place in their away meeting against Roma in the Champions League, but they were able to get the better of the Italian side last week.

An Ewa Pajor brace as well as goals from Sveindis Jonsdottir and Lena Lattwein helped Wolfsburg claim a 4-2 victory over Roma, which booked their place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

The German side will now be looking to secure top spot in the group, and they will be guaranteed to finish in first place with a win on Friday or if they draw and Roma fail to beat St Polten.

Tommy Stroot's side will certainly be confident of claiming all three points after they recorded a fourth consecutive win in all competitions with a 3-0 league victory over Meppen at the weekend.

While Wolfsburg have enjoyed a successful European campaign up until this point, Slavia Prague are rooted to the bottom of the group with just a single point to their name.

Although they have struggled to record positive results, they have remained competitive throughout the group stage, beginning with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Roma.

After losing 2-0 to Wolfsburg, Slavia Prague looked set to claim their first point of the competition in their home meeting with St Polten, which was goalless until the Austrian side snatched all three points with a stoppage-time winner.

Slavia Prague finally clinched the first point of their Champions League campaign when they played out a 1-1 away draw against St Polten last week.

Although they will be desperate to record their first victory of the group stage, Slavia Prague know that they will have their work cut out after winning only one of their last 12 Champions League games across the main draw and qualifying.

Team News

The hosts are unable to call upon Sara Agrez, while they are also expected to be without the services of Jill Roord, who was forced off in the 12th minute against Roma last week due to a foot injury.

Stroot made a number of changes for Sunday's win over Meppen, but the likes of Lynn Wilms, Dominique Janssen and Lattwein are set to return to the starting lineup.

Pajor will also be brought back into the side, and the current top scorer in the Champions League will look to add to the six goals that she has scored in Europe this season.

As for the visitors, they are still without the services of Martina Surnovska, who has been sidelined since picking up an injury during the defeat to Wolfsburg in October.

After featuring as a second-half substitute against St Polten, Denisa Tenkratova could be included in the starting lineup.

Meanwhile, Kristyna Ruzickova is expected to retain her place in the side after scoring Slavia Prague's first goal of the group stage in Austria last week.

Wolfsburg Women possible starting lineup:
Frohms; Wilms, Hendrich, Janssen, Rauch; Lattwein, Oberdorf; Huth, Jonsdottir, Popp; Pajor

Slavia Prague Women possible starting lineup:
Lukasova; Vesela, Necidova, Bartovicova, Khyrova; Keene, Tenkratova; Divisova, Kozarova, Ruzickova; Nekesa

We say: Wolfsburg Women 4-0 Slavia Prague Women

Wolfsburg have been in fine form this season, and after winning their last four games in all competitions, we think that they will cruise to a comfortable victory over Slavia Prague on Friday.
