Valencia defender Adil Rami will miss up to three weeks with a leg muscle injury that he picked up on Sunday against Mallorca.

Valencia centre-back Adil Rami is expected to miss three weeks of the season with the injury he suffered in the 2-0 win against Mallorca on Sunday.

Rami has suffered damage to a muscle in his left leg and the club has confirmed that the expected recovery time is three weeks.

"The player has begun treatment and the estimated recovery time is approximately three weeks," Valencia's official website stated.

It means that Rami will definitely miss the league games with Real Zaragoza, Levante and Athletic Bilbao and will most likely not be fit for the return Champions League leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
