How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up in Sunday's Premier League clash with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they travel to struggling Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday night.

Spurs saw an eight-game unbeaten run in all competitions come to an end on Thursday evening as they suffered a 3-1 home defeat to champions Liverpool in the league.

Jose Mourinho's side are currently sixth in the Premier League table, four points behind fourth-placed Liverpool and eight points off leaders Manchester City.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up at the Amex.

Tottenham will again be without the services of Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso through injury, while Harry Kane will also miss out, having picked up injuries to both of his ankles in the loss to Liverpool.

Kane is thought to be facing a few weeks on the sidelines, meaning that Mourinho will have to come up with a solution to fill his spot in the side.

Son Heung-min could go through the middle this weekend, with Lucas Moura potentially coming into the side, although Gareth Bale, Erik Lamela and Carlos Vinicius are also options.

Mourinho has already confirmed that Joe Rodon will keep his spot at the back, but there could be a change in a defensive position, with Toby Alderweireld potentially coming into the XI.

Serge Aurier, who was substituted at the interval against Liverpool, could be the player to miss out with Ben Davies and Matt Doherty in line to feature in the wing-back positions.

Moussa Sissoko and Harry Winks are options for change in midfield, but Tanguy Ndombele and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg should both keep their spots, while Dele Alli is unlikely to be involved even if he can overcome a tendon problem before the contest.
