Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas makes eight changes to the side that drew with Chelsea for tonight's Europa League clash against Anzhi Makhachkala.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Andre Villas-Boas has made eight changes to his team for this evening's Europa League clash against Anzhi Makhachkala.

Only goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, defender Kyle Walker and midfielder Moussa Dembele retain their places from the side that drew 1-1 with Chelsea last Saturday.

Jermain Defoe has returned up front, while Zeki Fryers and Vlad Chiriches will make their first European starts for the North London outfit in Moscow.

Meanwhile, Anzhi have placed striker Lacina Traore on the bench, despite the forward being expected to miss out with a shoulder injury.

Anzhi Makhachkala: Pomazan; Angbwa, Adeleye, Ewerton, Tagirbekov; Jucilei, Ahmedov, Solomatin, Razak, Serderov; Abdulavov

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Walker, Chiriches, Kaboul, Fryers; Dembele, Sandro; Lamela, Holtby, Chadli; Defoe
