Preview: Paris Saint-Germain vs. Ajaccio

Sports Mole considers a potential home debut for Edinson Cavani as Ajaccio meet Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 on Sunday night.

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc could hand Edinson Cavani a full home debut in Sunday's Ligue 1 clash with Ajaccio.

Cavani came off the bench to help PSG rescue a 1-1 draw at Montpellier in last weekend's opening fixture, with Blanc admitting that the £54m forward is in his plans after a full week's training.

Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Pastore are the forwards under threat if Cavani makes the starting XI alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack, while Jeremy Menez is still sidelined by a back injury.

Thiago Motta is also unavailable with a calf problem, which should mean that Marco Verratti and Blaise Matuidi will continue in central midfield.

Ajaccio boss Fabrizio Ravanelli is without Benjamin Andre for the trip to Paris through suspension, with Adrian Mutu likely to lead the line for the visitors in a lone front role.

Possible lineups:

PSG: Sirigu, Jallet, Silva, Alex, Maxwell, Moura, Verratti, Matudi, Pastore, Cavani, Ibrahimovic

Ajaccio: Ochoa, Bonnart, Dielna, Zubar, Hengbart, Pierazzi, Pedretti, Diarra, Cavalli, Mostefa, Mutu

Sports Mole says: 3-0
