Remi Garde: 'Hatem Ben Arfa welcome at Montreal Impact'

Montreal Impact boss Remi Garde suggests that he would like to sign midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa when his contract expires at Paris Saint-Germain.

Montreal Impact boss Remi Garde has suggested that he plans to make an approach for Hatem Ben Arfa.

Last month, Ben Arfa revealed that he intends to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract after failing to make an appearance all season.

The French international will have plenty of options come the summer, and compatriot Garde admits that he would like to sign the playmaker.

Garde is quoted by the MLS's official website as saying: "We know each other very well. If Hatem is coming to MLS, he is welcome here."

Leicester City have also been linked with a move for the former Newcastle United and Hull City player.
