Swansea City 'told £13m to re-sign Wilfried Bony'

Swansea City reportedly learn that they will have to pay £13m in order to re-sign Manchester City forward Wilfried Bony in this summer's transfer window.

Manchester City have reportedly informed Swansea City that the Welsh club will need to pay £13m in order to re-sign Wilfried Bony in this summer's transfer window.

Bony, 28, scored 35 times in 70 appearances for Swansea before joining Man City for an initial £25m fee in January 2015.

The Ivory Coast international has scored 10 times in 46 matches for the Citizens, but he spent last season on loan at Stoke City after being deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola.

According to The Mirror, Swansea have had a £10m offer for their former striker knocked back, with Man City demanding £13m in order to allow Bony to leave the Etihad Stadium ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

Fenerbahce, Besiktas and a number of Chinese Super League clubs have also all been credited with an interest.
