Pablo Zabaleta hopes that Manchester City can go on to lift the FA Cup this year.

Pablo Zabaleta has said he is hoping that Manchester City will lift the FA Cup this season.

The current Premier League champions will secure a place in the final if they beat current cup holders Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday.

The Argentinian told City's website: "If we can win the FA Cup it would be even better, but on a personal note I have enjoyed this season and being a regular in the team has been fantastic.

"I'll always work hard for the team and give my best but we need to win a trophy and have something to show for our efforts.

"The Premier League is the one everyone really wants to win but the FA Cup would be a great end to the season."

The club last won the tournament in 2011.
