Liverpool reportedly draw up a three-man shortlist as they prepare to replace Dejan Lovren this summer.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Atletico Madrid's Jose Gimenez, RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano and Inter Milan's Alessandro Bastoni as potential replacements for Dejan Lovren.

The Reds are expected to sell Lovren during this summer's transfer window as the 30-year-old only has little over 12 months left to run on his contract at Anfield.

According to AS, Jurgen Klopp's side have already drawn up a three-man shortlist to replace the Croatia international, with Gimenez, Upamecano and Bastoni all being considered.

The report suggests that Gimenez will be the club's leading target, but the Uruguay international could ultimately be priced out of a switch as his current release clause stands at €120m (£111m).

Upamecano, meanwhile, is also believed to be a target for the likes of Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, suggesting that the Premier League leaders would face an intense battle for his signature.

In terms of Bastoni, Manchester City are also said to be admirers of the 20-year-old and have reportedly been scouting the centre-back during the 2019-20 campaign.
