Liverpool attacker Philippe Coutinho has reportedly indicated that he wants to move to Barcelona but only if a deal can be reached "amicably".

Liverpool attacker Philippe Coutinho is reportedly "keen" on a move to Barcelona but will not force his exit from the Merseyside club this summer.

The Spanish side have been in heavy pursuit of the Brazilian in recent months despite the Reds' insistence that he is not for sale, and last week were reported to have had an £89m bid turned down.

Barca are cash-rich following the world-record departure of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain for £200m and are now said to be preparing an improved offer of £120m to get the deal done.

According to Sky Sports News today, Coutinho has made clear that he would like to leave for Spain but only under the condition that a deal can be reached "amicably" between the two clubs.

The broadcaster also claims that Barca have made just one offer for Coutinho - to the tune of £72m - which was "firmly and immediately rejected" 18 days ago.

Coutinho signed a new long-term deal in January contracting him at Anfield until 2022.
