Team News: Raheem Sterling starts for Liverpool against Queens Park Rangers

Raheem Sterling is chosen to start for Liverpool in Sunday's Premier League match against QPR, in the week that he allegedly opted out of England duty.

Raheem Sterling has been named in Liverpool's starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League match at Queens Park Rangers.

The 19-year-old allegedly told England manager Roy Hodgson that he was too tired to start for his country last week, but he starts for the Reds at Loftus Road today.

Brendan Rodgers has made four changes to the side that started Liverpool's last league game against West Bromwich Albion.

Glen Johnson and Jose Enrique replace Javier Manquillo and Alberto Moreno in the full-back positions, while Emre Can starts his first Premier League game in midfield ahead of Philippe Coutinho. Up front, Mario Balotelli returns to the starting lineup in place of Rickie Lambert.

For the bottom-of-the-table hosts, Harry Redknapp makes five changes to the side that were beaten at West Ham United last time out.
