Liverpool team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Fulham

Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Fulham at Anfield.

Liverpool will be looking to end their worst-ever run of home form on Sunday when they welcome Fulham to Anfield.

The champions slumped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Chelsea on Thursday night, making it five consecutive losses at home and seven league games at Anfield without a win.

Jurgen Klopp's side have seen their top-four hopes dwindle away in the process, and know that they must return to winning ways sooner rather than later if they are to turn their ailing season around.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Fulham's visit.

Ozan Kabak

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 7 (vs. Fulham)

Liverpool's centre-back curse appears to have struck again with Klopp confirming that Ozan Kabak will most likely miss Sunday's match due to a "little problem" he picked up against Chelsea.

Nat Phillips

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Back
Possible return date: March 6 (vs. Fulham)

There should be better news when it comes to Nat Phillips, though, with the defender expected to be back available in time for this match after missing out with a minor lower back problem in midweek.

Caoimhin Kelleher

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: March 6 (vs. Fulham)

Caoimhin Kelleher is also closing in on a return to fitness following a knock, although Alisson Becker did play against Chelsea and so the back-up goalkeeper will not be rushed back into the squad.

Jordan Henderson

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

Jordan Henderson will not be back until next month after undergoing surgery on the groin injury he sustained in the Merseyside derby defeat to Everton.

Joel Matip

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

Liverpool will be without Joel Matip for the remainder of the season after he suffered an ankle injury towards the end of January - one of many centre-back blows for the Reds this term.

Joe Gomez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Joe Gomez may also not feature again this season as he continues his recovery from a knee injury he sustained while away with England last year.

Virgil van Dijk

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Virgil van Dijk is in a race against time to be fit for the European Championship this summer and, while some positive updates have raised hope that he could yet feature again before the end of the season, he will not be back in time to have a significant impact on the campaign.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this game.
