Leicester City are reportedly yet to make an offer for Club America centre-back Sebastian Caceres.
The 21-year-old has scored once and provided one assist in 38 appearances for his current club since making the move from Liverpool Montevideo in January 2020.
Leicester have recently been credited with an interest in the defender, who has been capped by Uruguay at Under-18s, Under-20s and Under-23s level.
However, according to Record, the Foxes are yet to launch a 'formal offer' for Caceres, and it is unclear whether America would be 'willing to negotiate' a deal for the South American.
Leicester are said to be in the market for a new centre-back this summer following Wes Morgan's retirement.
Brendan Rodgers's side have recently boosted their squad with the arrival of Ryan Bertrand, who has followed Boubakary Soumare and Patson Daka to the King Power Stadium this summer.
