Swansea City have reportedly failed in their efforts to secure a loan deal for Leeds United youngster Sam Greenwood.
With the Swans sitting in second place in the Championship standings, Steve Cooper is eager to strengthen his options in the final third.
Greenwood has been restricted to just one outing in the FA Cup this season, with the 19-year-old instead being used in Premier League 2, where he has contributed six goals in nine games.
However, Football Insider claims that Marcelo Bielsa would prefer the prospect to spend the second half of the campaign at Elland Road.
Leeds spent £3m on Greenwood during the summer transfer window, and the latest development indicates that the former Arsenal youngster could be included on the substitutes' bench during the coming months.
