Agent: 'Hernanes wants to stay at Lazio'

Hernanes's agent Joseph Lee says that the Brazilian wants to stay at Lazio.

The agent of Lazio midfielder Hernanes has said that his client is happy in the Italian capital and has no plans to leave.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A and is thought to be of interest to both Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, his agent Joseph Lee said that he plans to honour his contract, which runs until 2015.

"The boy is having a great time in Rome and is happy at Lazio, he has a contract that he intends to comply with and therefore I see no problems," he told Calciomercatonews.

"Sometimes there was interest, but nothing concrete. No-one has put forward any proposals for my client, who I repeat is happy to be at Lazio."

Hernanes has scored 32 goals in Serie A since joining the Biancocelesti from Sao Paulo in 2010.
