Relegation rivals Genoa and Siena share a 2-2 draw which keeps both sides fighting to stay in Serie A.

Genoa and Siena have shared the spoils in this afternoon's crucial relegation clash in Serie A.

With just one point separating the two sides before kickoff, Genoa took the lead after six minutes.

Marco Borriello's free kick took a huge deflection off Massimo Paci before landing inside the far post.

Siena responded brightly and were level just before the break as Innocent Emeghara took advantage of a slip from Sebastian Frey to finish from close range.

Both sides went on the attack after the interval but Siena were first to strike from the penalty spot.

Cesare Bovo was penalised for a foul on Alessio Setsu to give Alessandro Rosina a chance from the spot, and he made no mistake to give his side the lead.

Siena were unable to hold on in the closing stages as Geona levelled when Ciro Immobile crossed for Bosko Jankovic to tap in from six yards.

Genoa saw out the final few minutes to maintain their one-point lead over Siena in the final relegation place.
