Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic during the summer transfer window.
The Serbian has struggled to make a name for himself during his maiden campaign at the Bernabeu and has been restricted to just 16 appearances in La Liga this term.
Having notched up only two goals in that time, Madrid are understood to be open to offers for Jovic, despite them having signed the former Eintracht Frankfurt man just last summer for £54m.
Leicester City are supposedly looking to strike a deal for the Serbian frontman, and according to Mundo Deportivo, Chelsea are also eyeing up a swoop as they looking to bolster their frontline ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
However, the report suggests that the Premier League clubs would face stiff competition from Italy for Jovic's signature, with AC Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Napoli all rumoured to be keeping a close eye on developments.
Jovic was forced to miss out Real Madrid's recent victory over Deportivo Alaves after allegedly coming into close contact with a friend who tested positive for COVID-19.
