Team News: John Terry out for Chelsea against Newcastle United

John Terry misses out on Chelsea's Premier League clash against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea captain John Terry has been left out of the squad to face Newcastle United in the Premier League this afternoon.

It is not yet clear why the centre-back misses out on today's clash at the Stamford Bridge, but initial reports suggest that he is injured.

This means that David Luiz will partner Gary Cahill in central defence for the hosts, while Frank Lampard will wear the captain's armband.

Meanwhile, Oscar makes his return to the Chelsea starting lineup.

As for visiting Newcastle, manager Alan Pardew has given Luuk de Jong his first start in attack as Loic Remy is suspended.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Azpilicueta; Matic, Lampard; Willian, Oscar, Hazard; Eto'o
Subs: Schwarzer, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Schurrle, Salah, Ba

Newcastle United: Krul; Debuchy, Williamson, S Taylor, Dummett; Anita, Santon; Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Sammy Ameobi; De Jong
