Roberto Di Matteo admits Fernando Torres worry

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo reveals his concern at the number of games that Fernando Torres has already played this season.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has revealed that he is worried that Fernando Torres may soon 'burn out'.

The striker has featured in all of the Blues' games this season and is expected to play against Norwich City this weekend due to a lack of forwards at Stamford Bridge.

"There are no signs of Fernando being burned out at the moment, but it's something we have to look at," said Di Matteo.

"This is our seventh game in 21 days and with the intensity and tempo of these matches it's going to be very difficult for anyone to play in them all.

"Daniel Sturridge was injured three weeks ago and we were hoping he'd be fit for this game."

Torres has scored five goals in all competitions for Chelsea this season.
