Burnley have announced that club captain and goalkeeper Tom Heaton has signed a new four-year contract at Turf Moor.
The 30-year-old is now committed to the club until at least the summer of 2020 after adding to a previous deal that had two years remaining.
Heaton, who joined Burnley from Bristol City in 2013, made his England debut in May before travelling with the squad to France for Euro 2016, but he failed to make an appearance.
"I am obviously over the moon to sign for another four years," Heaton told the club's official website. "I'm really looking forward to the challenge, especially this season and whatever comes after that.
"Being at Burnley has been fantastic for me and I've enjoyed every minute, on a personal note. Now I'm looking forward, as I say, to what the future is, to keep challenging myself and the position."
Heaton will be leading his team out in the Premier League this season after the club earned promotion from the Championship in May.
