Sports Mole looks ahead to Cardiff City's potential Championship title-winning clash against Burnley this weekend.

Cardiff City can clinch the Championship title this weekend if they seal an away victory against Burnley on Turf Moor.

The Bluebirds are already on their way to the Premier League following their goalless draw with Charlton Athletic on Tuesday, but three more points will ensure that the league trophy heads to Cardiff City stadium.

Burnley, on the other hand, have the chance to move up towards the top 14 in the table following a run that has resulted in the club claiming one victory, three draws and two defeats in their last six encounters.

Cardiff are seven points ahead of second-placed Hull City, but if they fail to grab maximum points against Burnley, they have games against Bolton Wanderers and Hull themselves to wrap up the title.

In the reverse fixture earlier this season, Cardiff eased four goals past Burnley, whose relegation fears will creep in if they lose this weekend considering they are just three points away from the drop.

Martin Paterson and Sam Vokes could start up front for Burnley, while the visiting team could line up with Rudy Gestede up top and Craig Bellamy providing service from the wide areas.
