Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben hopes that victory in the German Super Cup will spur his team on to greater success this season.
The Dutchman secured their first silverware for two years with a 2-1 victory over champions Borussia Dortmund on Sunday at the Allianz Arena.
Robben thinks that the victory can be the catalyst for greater success during the 2012-13 campaign.
He told ZDF: "Hopefully, this will help us get more trophies this season.
"It was important for us to set an example today. We are on the right track as a team."
Bayern begin their Bundesliga tilt with a trip to Greuther Furth on Saturday, August 25.
