Barcelona are believed to be pushing to sign Bayern Munich centre-forward Robert Lewandowski during this summer's transfer window, with the club viewing him as their leading summer target.
Deals for Chelsea's Andreas Christensen and AC Milan's Franck Kessie have also allegedly been agreed, with the pair set to move to Camp Nou on free transfers.
However, it is believed that Barcelona are currently unable to register new signings due to their financial problems, so there will have to be departures at the club this summer.
Samuel Umtiti, Riqui Puig and Martin Braithwaite have struggled for action since Xavi's arrival and could be on their way out this summer.
However, there could also be departures for individuals who have been used more regularly by the Catalan outfit during the 2021-22 campaign.
With that in mind, Sports Mole picks out five players that Barcelona could sell in the upcoming market to boost their transfer funds.
Clement Lenglet (Centre-back)

Clement Lenglet made 27 appearances for Barcelona during the 2021-22 campaign, including 21 outings in La Liga, while he featured in four of their six Champions League matches.
The 26-year-old is already behind Eric Garcia, Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo in the pecking order, though, and Christensen's expected arrival would push him further down that list.
Lenglet still has more than four years left to run on his contract at Camp Nou, having penned an extension in October 2020 after a strong start to his Barcelona career.
The centre-back was a regular during his first three seasons at Camp Nou and also impressed at Sevilla, so there would not be a shortage of takers, and there have been suggestions of Premier League interest in the defender, with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United said to be admirers.
Oscar Mingueza (Centre-back)

Oscar Mingueza also received plenty of football during the 2021-22 campaign, featuring on 27 occasions in all competitions, contributing two assists in the process.
The 23-year-old, who came through the youth system at Camp Nou, only has little over 12 months left to run on his deal, though, and he is not believed to be in Xavi's long-term plans.
Mingueza is largely a central defender but is also capable of playing right-back, which will make him an attractive proposition for interested clubs.
The Spain international has also now made 66 appearances for Barcelona's first team, including featuring in their final three league appearances of the recent season.
Mingueza could yet be kept as cover at right-back depending on Sergino Dest's situation, but he might not receive too much football in the middle of the defence next term.
Sergino Dest (Right-back)

Dest's future is currently the subject of much speculation, with Chelsea and Manchester United both credited with an interest in the United States international.
The 21-year-old made 31 appearances for Barcelona during the recent season, contributing three assists, but he missed the end of the campaign due to a muscular problem.
Dest has been a regular for his Catalan club since arriving from Ajax in 2020, featuring on 72 occasions in all competitions, but Xavi's side are said to be keen on Chelsea's Cesar Azpilicueta, while Sergi Roberto is set to stay, so there would be enough options at right-back to let him leave.
There have been claims that the full-back could be available for as little as £20m despite the fact that he still has more than three years left to run on his contract at Camp Nou.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is widely expected to leave Man United this summer, and Dest could be an attractive signing for the 20-time English champions.
Frenkie de Jong (Midfield)

Man United are also being heavily linked with Frenkie de Jong, and a recent report claimed that the club have now officially opened talks with Barcelona over his signature.
The Netherlands international has said that he wants to remain at Camp Nou this summer, but his sale would solve a lot of problems for Barcelona, particularly if they receive close to the £72.4m fee that has been mentioned.
The 25-year-old was again a vital player for his Catalan club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring four goals and registering five assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.
Barcelona boss Xavi has signalled a desire to keep hold of him, but the decision could be taken out of his hands, with new Man United boss Erik ten Hag said to be desperate to reunite with the player that he had at Ajax.
De Jong would comfortably be the most expensive player on this particular list, especially as he still has more than four years left to run on his deal with the club.
Memphis Depay (Forward)

Memphis Depay scored 13 goals and registered two assists in 38 appearances for Barcelona during his first campaign at the club, including 12 goals and two assists in La Liga.
The 28-year-old only signed a two-year deal upon his arrival on a free transfer from Lyon last summer, though, so he will soon enter the final 12 months of his agreement.
The Netherlands international missed a chunk of the recent season through injury, spending time on the sidelines with hamstring and Achilles problems, but he was a regular in the latter stages of the campaign.
Memphis actually featured in Barcelona's last six league matches of the season, and with Ousmane Dembele potentially leaving on a free transfer, and Adama Traore likely to return to Wolverhampton Wanderers, the Dutchman could remain at Camp Nou.
However, there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent weeks, with Arsenal one of a number of clubs believed to be interested in his signature.
