Arsene Wenger: 'No decision made over Arsenal future'

Arsene Wenger rejects suggestions that he will walk away from Arsenal when his contract expires in 2017, insisting that he has not decided his future.

Manager Arsene Wenger has played down speculation that he will not sign another contract at Arsenal.

Wenger, who turns 66 next week, is contracted to the Gunners until 2017, but intimated that he would not be signing an extension after claiming that he was "committed to the last day of his contract" this week.

Nevertheless, the Frenchman, who is in his 19th year as Arsenal boss, claims that his comments at the club's annual general meeting were misinterpreted.

"It has been interpreted like that, but I don't know. Honestly, I said many times I want to do well," he told Sky Sports News after Saturday's 3-0 win at Watford.

"When do I stop? I don't know yet. We will see." Asked if he had made a decision, he said: "Not yet, no."

Wenger's men, who have not won a Premier League title since 2004, sit second in the table, two points behind Manchester City.

The former AS Monaco coach has won nine major trophies since arriving at Arsenal in 1996, winning the league on three occasions and six FA Cup crowns - including the last two editions.
