Scottish League Two roundup: Albion Rovers beat Montrose to go top

Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's Scottish League Two action as Albion Rovers win at Montrose to move to the top of the table.

Albion Rovers are the new leaders of Scottish League Two following their 2-0 win away to Montrose.

Ross McNeil and Mark McGuigan netted either side of half time for the visitors after the hosts were reduced to 10 men - Stuart McKenzie receiving the early bath in the fourth minute.

Arbroath gave up top spot by losing 2-0 at home to East Fife, who put them to the sword with goals from Allan Walker and Kevin Smith.

Bottom club Annan Athletic collected their first win of the season by defeating Berwick Rangers 2-0, with goals from Stuart McColm and Kenneth Mackay, while East Stirlingshire pulled away from the lower reaches with a 1-0 victory against Clyde.

Meanwhile, two goals in as many minutes from Paul Woods helped Queen's Park to a 2-1 win over Elgin and moved them up to seventh on goal difference.
