Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva plays down suggestions that he could leave the club at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has revealed that he is "glad to be part of an evolving team" as the French outfit close in on the Ligue 1 title.

The Brazilian, who joined the club from AC Milan last summer, has played a key role in their impressive league campaign this season, although it has been suggested that Milan are keen to bring the centre-half back to Italy.

However, he told le 10 Sport: "I'm glad to be part of an evolving team. I'm happy in Paris, I'm happy to play with great players and to be part of an ambitious project.

"We were eliminated in the Champions League quarter-finals but we played well in both games. Today I hope that with my teammates we will form an even stronger team."

PSG are once more expected to spend heavily at the end of the season.
