Jason Hogg, Scott Mackenzie qualify for World Championship

Jason Hogg and Scott MacKenzie will feature in tomorrow's PDC World Championship draw after coming through Monday's qualifying tournament in Coventry.

Jason Hogg has earned a place in the main draw for the 2015 PDC World Championship after winning Monday's PDPA qualifier in Coventry.

The Scot, who is ranked number 133 in the PDC Order of Merit, overcame Hong Kong's Scott MacKenzie 5-2 in the final at the Ricoh Arena.

Hogg, whose only previous experience in a PDC major is at the UK Open, battled past James Richardson and Andy Jenkins before sealing his place in the final with a 5-3 success over Matthew Edgar.

Despite losing out in the final, MacKenzie, who lost to Wayne Jones in the first round in 2012, moves through to the preliminary draw where he will play Daryl Gurney for a place in the last 64.

The draw, which will be headed by world number one and defending champion Michael van Gerwen, will take place on Tuesday afternoon.
