Marvin Williams was forced to miss Utah Jazz's game against the Indiana Pacers last night after being diagnosed with an inflamed heel.
The forward underwent a bone scan after suffering from pain in his right foot, which revealed a calcaneal inflammation.
The team has said that they will assess the 27-year-old's injury on a day-to-day basis.
Williams, who recently broke his nose, has featured in 13 games so far this season, averaging 10.4 points.
