Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey has claimed that his side "took the punch" on their way to a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night.
The Thunder looked set for a 10th straight victory after building a lead in the third quarter but Toronto recovered impressively to earn a 104-98 victory at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
"They're one of the best defensive teams in the league," Casey told reporters.
"We knew they were going to come out in the third quarter with their best effort, which they did. We sustained it and took the punch."
The Raptors are the first team to beat Oklahoma in front of their own supporters this season.
