The Portland Trail Blazers avoided a 4-0 series sweep in their first-round NBA playoff matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies by claiming a 99-92 victory in game four on Monday.
After dropping the first three games and hardly threatening the Grizz, Portland showed up last night at Moda Center to force a game five back in Memphis on Wednesday.
The Grizzlies took a seven-point lead into the final frame following a dominant third quarter, but they went dry in the fourth as Portland won it 27-13 to stay alive in the series.
Damian Lillard led the way for the hosts with 32 points and seven assists as the Blazers also ended a seven-game losing streak against their counterparts from Tennessee.
