Carmelo Anthony has said that the New York Knicks were tired of losing before their last two NBA games.
The Knicks ended their nine-game losing streak by beating the Brooklyn Nets earlier this week, before making it back-to-back successes by thrashing the Orlando Magic last night.
The forward told reporters: "We got tired of losing. Whether we figured everything out in two games, that's yet to come, but we'll take these two wins.
"I wanted to try to do something a little different to see if it worked. Me scoring 30 wasn't working."
Anthony has scored fewer points in the Knicks' last two games than in any game during the team's run of losses.
