Larry Drew has admitted that the Milwaukee Bucks missed Caron Butler's leadership during his 12-game absence with a knee injury.
Butler returned for the Bucks on Sunday to record 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 116-106 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
"The thing this team has desperately missed from him is his leadership," Milwaukee coach Larry Drew told reporters.
"Throughout the game he was on the court talking, pumping his teammates up. We had a couple of bad stretches, but he kept the guys positive."
The Bucks visit the Time Warner Cable Arena on Monday night to play the Charlotte Bobcats.
