Jeff Teague scored a career-high 34 points to help the Atlanta Hawks notch a 127-125 overtime win against the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Quicken Loans Arena on Boxing Day.
With Cleveland leading at the end of the fourth quarter, Teague scored a jumper to send the game into an OT frame and then another to win the contest in double OT.
Teague contributed with a game-best 14 assists for the Hawks, who were also aided by the performances of center Al Horford and power forward Paul Millsap, with the players adding 25 and 20 points respectively.
The result sees the Hawks sitting in second position in the Southeast Division after a busy Christmas period.
