The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed free agent forward Shawn Marion, with the veteran agreeing to a one-year contract with the franchise.
Marion won a championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011 after averaging 10.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in 76 starts, and he is seen as a key additional piece to the roster.
Cleveland continue to add experienced stars to their team ahead of a championship push next season, with Marion playing in 103 career playoff games.
The 36-year-old will be expected to come off the bench and form part of the secondary unit behind the likes of LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving.
