Forward Shawn Marion is leaning towards a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to a report in the press.
The experienced free agent is being followed by a number of clubs, with the player thought to have met with both Cleveland and the Indiana Pacers.
Yahoo Sports reports that Marion favours a deal with the Cavs as it would allow him to join up with LeBron James.
The Pacers could be in a strong financial position to offer a contract, should they apply for a $5.3m (£3.1m) disabled player exception following a potentially season-ending injury to Paul George.
