Cleveland Cavaliers' new signing Mike Miller has said that his first goal is to win the NBA championship with the team.

Miller is one of three key summer signings made by Cleveland, who have also attracted LeBron James and James Jones as they go in search of title-winning glory.

"Obviously, our goal is to win a championship," The AP quotes the former Memphis Grizzlies guard as saying.

"Winning a championship takes a lot of hard work. It's one of the hardest things you'll ever do.

"I was able to be a part, and James was able to be a part of an unbelievable ride in Miami."

It is also rumoured that new coach David Blatt could be eyeing a move for free agent and efficient shooter Ray Allen.
