Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James has admitted that he was surprised by comments made by some of his former teammates at the Miami Heat.
Chris Bosh insinuated that Kevin Love could find it difficult to forge a partnership with James on the court at the Cavaliers.
The 29-year-old has conceded that he was taken aback by the remarks, but has admitted that he still has a lot of respect for his former teammates at the Heat.
"I know a lot of words have been coming out of their camp as of late and some of it is surprising," James told reporters.
"We've got so much history together. It doesn't take away from what we accomplished [in Miami] and I know that."
James won the NBA Championship twice in his four seasons with the Heat before rejoining the Cavaliers earlier this year.
