In the final show ahead of the Elimination Chamber on Sunday, the Swiss star was DQ'd after Kane interfered by choke-slamming Bryan.
Earlier in the show, Bryan, who was once again made to wrestle twice by authority figure Kane, got the better of Jack Swagger to a rapturous ovation from the crowd.
Elsewhere on the show, two of the other six participants in the Chamber match itself this weekend squared off, with Sheamus defeating Christian with White Noise.
The Wyatt family warmed up for their six-man tag match with The Shield on Sunday with a win over Rey Mysterio, Cody Rhodes and Goldust.
Dolph Ziggler got one over on Titus O'Neil before Jimmy Uso beat Road Dogg.
