Great Britain skeleton racer Lizzy Yarnold has spoken of her joy at being selected to carry her country's flag at the Winter Olympics' closing ceremony.
The 25-year-old won gold in her event 11 days ago and has now been selected as Team GB's flagbearer for today's ceremony.
"It's been an indescribable experience here in Sochi," Yarnold told BBC Sport.
"I came to these Games with the goal of competing to the best of my ability, doing my country proud, and supporting my team-mates across all of Team GB.
"To have been selected for this honour is so far beyond anything I could have ever imagined. It makes what has already been an incredible experience just that much more special, and I am extremely grateful."
Short track speed skater Jon Eley was Britain's flagbearer at the opening ceremony.
