Team GB director: 'We're back in hunt for medal success'

Team GB performance director Gary Anderson says that Britain's four-man bobsleigh team will "give everything" to get back in the hunt for medals.

Great Britain performance director Gary Anderson has stated that the four-man bobsleigh team will "give everything" to get back in the hunt for medal success at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi today.

Team GB are currently seventh going into day two of the event, climbing five places from their start position.

"Our aim was to go into the second day with the leading group," Anderson is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"Our start position of 12th in the first heat was always going to be tough, but our second run has put us back in the hunt and we will give everything tomorrow to move up the leaderboard."

The four-man event resumes at 9:30am UK time.
