Team GB's Jamie Nicholls overwhelmed with fan reaction

Jamie Nicholls says that he hopes his and Billy Morgan's success at the Sochi Games will inspire kids in Great Britain to take up snowboarding.

British snowboarder Jamie Nicholls has said that he hopes kids in his country will take up the sport.

The 20-year-old finished sixth in the men's slopestyle final at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

"It's been insane," he told BBC 5 live. "There's even a Lego man of me now I've been told - that's mad.

"It's changed my life a little bit, I was famous in snowboarding already but now it seems like everyone in the UK is speaking about me and Billy Morgan.

"I hope this inspires kids and really helps the profile of snowboarding."

Billy Morgan finished 10th in the event in Sochi.
