Team GB skier Callum Smith pleased with coverage

Callum Smith believes that the coverage of the Winter Olympics has been "great".

Great Britain cross-country skier Callum Smith has revealed that he is pleased with the amount of coverage that the team have had so far during the Sochi Winter Olympics 2014.

Smith was unable to qualify for the cross-country sprint quarter-finals, but even though the conditions were tough, he did not blame them for his performance.

"I was definitely very keen to get a good result and certainly very up for it," he told Team GB's official website. "The success we have had with Jenny Jones has been great.

"We are certainly getting a lot more coverage than we generally get, which is great obviously.

"There have been a couple of occasions this season where the conditions have been slushy like they were. Generally the snow in Europe this year has been like it so we have had a few."

Andrew Young did not make the quarters either.
