Aimee Fuller has reflected on her snowboarding slopestyle run at the 2014 Sochi Games with pride, despite missing out on a place in the final.
Fuller, who made a slight error on landing her trademark double backflip, ranked ninth in the semi-final.
Only the top four athletes progress through to the final, joining the eight riders who advanced directly from the qualifiers.
"I laid all my cards down on the table and went for it but it didn't quite work out," the 23-year-old told BBC Sport.
"I thought I'd go big or go home, it's the Olympics, the biggest contest on earth. I'm walking away happy and I've enjoyed my Olympic experience.
"I landed the double backflip but I put my hand down on landing and I had to miss the last jump, that's what cost me. I really hope we've inspired some of the younger generation to stick a snowboard on their feet and have a go. It's a great sport."
Great Britain still have a medal hopeful in the event, as Jenny Jones progressed through to this morning's final.
