Alla Tsuper backs Belarus for more Sochi success

Alla Tsuper believes that Belarus can win more gold medals at the Sochi Games than they already have.

Belarusian skier Alla Tsuper has backed her country to win more medals at the ongoing Winter Olympics.

Tsuper came first in the women's aerials event on Friday to bag her nation's third gold in Sochi.

"I don't think it will be our last medal of the Olympics," The AP quotes her as saying. "Our guys are still going to perform here."

Tsuper added that she was pleased to have overcome her disappointment of not finishing on the podium at the Vancouver Games four years ago.

"In Vancouver, when I made it to the final but I didn't medal, I thought that was it," she said. "I took a break for two years, had a daughter and was offered to try again."

Belarus have won four medals so far in Sochi.
