Andreas Seppi books his place in the fourth round of Wimbledon with a 3-6 6-2 6-7 6-1 6-4 victory over Kei Nishikori.

Andreas Seppi has booked his place in the fourth round of Wimbledon with a 3-6 6-2 6-7 6-1 6-4 victory over Kei Nishikori on Saturday.

Nishikori broke in the opening game of the first set, before another break at 3-5 allowed the Japanese to move into a one-set lead.

Seppi responded in positive fashion, however, securing consecutive breaks in the second set before eventually levelling the match at one-set-all on serve.

The next two sets were also shared, with Nishikori moving ahead on a tie-break, before Seppi once more secured consecutive breaks to level the match at two-sets-all.

Just the one break of serve occurred in the fifth and final set, with Seppi moving ahead at 3-3 before serving out to book his spot in the next round of the competition.
