Agnieszka Radwanska has safely booked her place in the second round of Wimbledon courtesy of a routine straight-sets victory over Kateryna Kozlova on Centre Court this afternoon.
It took the Pole a little over an hour to overcome the world 97 6-2 6-1 and set up a second-round clash with either Karin Knapp or Ana Konjuh.
The number three seed gave an early indication of how things would go by racing into a 4-0 lead in the first set, before Kozlova finally got on the board with a break of her own.
There was little to shout about for the Ukrainian, though, and Radwanska broke again in the final game of the set to clinch it in just over half an hour.
Kozlova showed small signs of recovery early in the second set, earning a break point in the opening game before holding to love in her first service game, but Radwanska soon regained complete control.
The 2012 finalist reeled off five games in a row to wrap up the victory, eventually sealing it with her third match point.
