Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is expected to be fit for Wimbledon, despite suffering a suspected broken finger at Queen's.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga's fitness doubts ahead of Wimbledon have been calmed with news that the Frenchman will be fit for the elite tournament.

The 27-year-old was a doubt for the competition after picking up a suspected broken finger in his defeat at Queen's this week.

A statement on the player's Facebook page said: "Jo-Wilfried Tsonga suffered a severe sprain of the little finger of his right hand without tearing. He will have a new scan on Monday. His participation in Wimbledon is currently not in doubt."

Tsonga managed to get into the final four at Wimbledon last year.
