Oxfam are set for £100,000 boost if Roger Federer wins the Wimbledon final on Sunday.

Oxfam could be receiving an £100,000 boost if Roger Federer wins the Wimbledon final on Sunday.

The Swiss booked his spot in Sunday's conclusion with a three-sets-to-one victory over Novak Djokovic on Friday – and a seventh title for Federer would pay dividends to Oxfam.

In 2003, Nick Newlife from Oxfordshire placed £1,520 on Federer claiming seven Wimbledon titles by 2019, at the odds of 66/1.

He died in 2009 but left the betting slip in his will to Oxfam. An Oxfam spokesman told the BBC "we will be keeping our fingers firmly crossed for Federer's success".

Federer will face either Andy Murray or Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final.
