Nick Kyrgios: 'I need to keep my mouth shut'

Australian tennis player Nick Kyrgios says that he needs to learn to 'keep his mouth shut'.

Nick Kyrgios has said that he needs to learn to 'keep his mouth shut' following a series of controversies surrounding the Australian.

The 20-year-old received a suspended 28-day ban following a slur towards Stanislas Wawrinka last month.

"I'd like to think that I'm going to learn from it. I think I have. I think I'm on the right path," Kyrgios told reporters.

"I don't think any of us in this room right now were perfect at 20."

When asked what he needed to learn, Kyrgios said: "Keep your mouth shut at times."

Kyrgios lost his first-round tie in four sets to Andy Murray.
